Gypsum Moving FAQs

How much do movers cost in Gypsum, CO?
Moving costs in Gypsum depend on home size, distance, and access challenges. We provide free binding estimates with no hidden fees — you'll know your exact cost upfront.
Do you handle moves to/from Gypsum year-round?
Yes, we move year-round in Gypsum. The town's location at a lower elevation (6,300 ft) along I-70 means generally milder weather conditions. Our trucks have winter tires and crews trained for any mountain conditions.
What's the drive time from your Silverthorne base to Gypsum?
Gypsum is approximately 40 minutes from our Silverthorne headquarters via I-70 West. We service Gypsum regularly and this proximity allows efficient scheduling without excessive travel surcharges.
Can you move into Gypsum neighborhoods like Buckhorn Valley or Cotton Ranch?
Absolutely. We work with HOAs and property managers in Buckhorn Valley, Cotton Ranch, Stratton Flats, and all Gypsum neighborhoods. We coordinate loading times and ensure compliance with community rules.
What time of year is hardest to move in Gypsum?
Summer months (June-August) are busiest for residential moves as families relocate before school starts. Gypsum's lower elevation means winter moves are typically easier than in higher mountain towns. Book 2-3 weeks ahead during peak periods.
Do you offer storage near Gypsum?
Yes, we operate secure, climate-controlled storage in Silverthorne, about 40 minutes from Gypsum. Units range from 5x5 to 10x30 with flexible month-to-month or long-term options, all monitored 24/7.
Can you move pianos or heavy items in Gypsum?
Yes, we specialize in heavy and specialty items including pianos, gun safes, hot tubs, and antiques. Our crews have the equipment and training to safely move these items in any Gypsum neighborhood.
Are you licensed to move into and out of Gypsum?
Yes, Majestic Mountain Movers holds Colorado PUC License HHG-00576 and USDOT 3225248. We're fully licensed and insured for all moves with comprehensive cargo protection included.

Fantastic customer service…Dominic and Tommy arrived early to facilitate a move from Breck to Highlands Ranch. They were very efficient and respectful. Far exceeded my expectations!

Guys had a positive attitude and really tried to make my day! I used this company before and they didn't try to nickel and dime me like other companies.

My crew was awesome! And Josh was so easy to work with. Answered questions day and night, very responsive, and was in communication throughout. The 2 guys who moved me did a great job navigating three small spaces. They worked really hard and quickly. Best of all, my price came in hundreds lower than the estimate. I would highly recommend them!

They were so polite and did a great job! We had a really difficult move (lots of stuff in 2 houses). These guys were great! They worked nonstop. We have moved A LOT and these were the best movers we've ever had.

I don't leave many reviews because I just get inundated with the request but majestic movers did a fantastic job. We are moving from a Beavercreek townhome to a Winter Park house. The team packed up the whole townhome and moved us into the Winter Park house. There was a team of three, they were so polite asked questions very respectful of the house, which I appreciated. We are a shoe free house and they accommodated that!! Things were so well packed, (I mean really well) everything came out in one piece. The movers were so helpful. A great bunch of guys that we are grateful to. I hope never to move again but would certainly use their services without thinking twice..

We had 2 moves in 2 days. Essentially downsizing and had to move things to Tabernash and Golden. Service was excellent. Young men were so polite. Timely. Excellent communication. I will use them again and I recommend them highly.
